Dr Mei and Dr Rosie both carry out lip filler at Kirei Clinic, using hyaluronic acid products to add shape, hydration and definition without an overfilled look. She is an independent trainer for Merz, training other medical professionals in the use of Radiesse, and owns her own medical device company, designing the Precision32 range of medical cannulas and syringes for the aesthetic industry. She also trains other clinicians through her own academy, and works alongside Allergan and Fillmed. Dr Rosie is a GDC-registered dentist and Newcastle graduate, previously a national trainer for polynucleotides, and treats patients at the Leeds clinic. Both doctors apply the same full-face assessment approach, checking how your lips relate to your chin, nose and overall proportions before recommending treatment.

How long do results last?
Results typically last a minimum of 9 to 12 months, and often last years for our patients. Your lips, your metabolism and the amount of filler your doctor places all affect how long results hold.
Does lip filler hurt?
Most patients tolerate lip filler well. Your doctor uses a cannula technique for most of the treatment, which keeps discomfort low without needing numbing cream first. The products used also contain a local anaesthetic for extra comfort during treatment.
Will I swell or bruise?
Mild swelling is normal after lip filler and typically settles within 1 to 2 days. Bruising is uncommon but possible. Full results show after about a week, once any swelling has gone down.
What type of filler do you use?
Kirei Clinic uses hyaluronic acid fillers from Stylage, Teoxane, Belotero, Juvederm and Restylane. Your doctor chooses the product suited to your lips and the result you want, based on your assessment.
Who is suitable for lip filler?
Lip filler suits people looking to add shape, volume or hydration to their lips. Your suitability depends on your anatomy, medical history and goals, all covered at your consultation. Lip filler is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Is lip filler reversible?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid filler dissolves with an enzyme called hyaluronidase, if you want to reduce or remove your result. Your doctor talks through this option at your consultation, including ultrasound-guided dissolve for filler placed elsewhere or filler you are unsure about.

Lip filler is available at two Kirei Clinic locations. The Leeds city centre clinic sees patients for lip filler with Dr Mei and Dr Rosie. The Beverley clinic, based at Perfect32 Dental Practice and CQC-registered, sees patients with Dr Mei only.
