Juvelook Under-Eye Treatment

Improve skin quality without adding obvious volume.

Fine lines, crepiness and thinning skin can make the under-eye area look tired even when tear trough filler is not the right treatment. Juvelook combines hyaluronic acid with PDLLA, a collagen-stimulating material. It is used to support hydration and gradual improvement in skin quality while keeping the result subtle.

The under-eye area is not assessed in isolation. We look at your skin thickness, pigmentation, hollowing, cheek support and any excess skin or fat before deciding whether Juvelook, tear trough filler, laser treatment or a combination is more appropriate.

Why Kirei Clinic?

Dr Mei has developed an under-eye treatment protocol that may combine Juvelook, CO2 laser and tear trough filler according to what is causing the tired appearance. Not every dark circle is a volume problem, and adding filler to unsuitable anatomy can make the area look heavier. Your treatment begins with a full-face assessment and a clear explanation of what Juvelook can and cannot change.

FAQs

What is Juvelook?

Juvelook is an injectable treatment combining hyaluronic acid with PDLLA. The hyaluronic acid supports hydration, while the PDLLA is intended to stimulate a gradual collagen response.

How many treatments will I need?

A course of three treatments is normally needed. The spacing of appointments depends on your skin, under-eye anatomy and treatment goals and is confirmed following assessment.

Is Juvelook the same as tear trough filler?

No. Tear trough filler is used primarily to replace volume and soften a hollow. Juvelook is selected primarily to improve skin quality and fine crepiness. Some patients may benefit from one treatment, while others may need a carefully staged combination.

Will Juvelook treat dark circles?

It may improve the appearance of darkness related to thin or poor-quality skin, but it does not remove true pigmentation or correct every cause of dark circles. Shadowing from hollowing, pigment, visible vessels and excess skin each need a different approach.

What downtime should I expect?

Small bumps, redness, swelling and bruising can occur after treatment. These effects are usually temporary. Your clinician will explain aftercare and what to contact us about before you leave.

Am I suitable for treatment?

Suitability is confirmed at consultation. Juvelook may not be appropriate where the main concern is significant hollowing, prominent fat pads, excess skin or pigmentation alone. Injectable aesthetic treatment is not offered during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
